“There are thousands of people living with CRPS / RSD neuropathic pain, as well as physical symptoms, many who arrive here at our clinic in wheelchairs. After treating hundreds of patients from around the world, I truly believe we can help most of them.”

Calmare, an FDA-cleared, pain-free, drug-free, scrambler therapy, is performed through very low doses of electricity transmitted through 16 different algorithms to disrupt the chronic pain loop message from the brain.

The placement of each lead and the setting of the MC-5A device is dependent upon the healthcare professional administering the treatment. Calmare is a “provider-dependent” therapy.

CRPS PATIENT STORIES

BlackburnDianne B., a registered nurse from Texas shares her Calmare Therapy NJ Review (treated December 2015)

“I have had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) for years and years! After an accident at work, I required back surgery (which turned into 3 surgeries) and after the last one, my left foot was insanely painful. It quickly spread throughout my entire body).

I have 2 spinal cord stimulators (SCS) – one for my lower body and one for my upper body. I had a drug pump for years as well. I’ve had too many injections and blocks to even keep track of. I was in a wheelchair for years…

Paul Ellis (treated January 2016), Queensland Australia, age 31, suffered a severe injury to his right foot which resulted in a CRPS diagnosis, eventually leaving him wheelchair reliant  He tells his personal story here:

Michael Kost, age 13, New York (treated March 2016) was injured playing middle school football and the RSD quickly grabbed hold of both of his feet, leaving him unable to put any weight on them. He also experienced medication and treatment-resistant neuropathy resulting in debilitating chronic pain.

An honor student, his discomfort became so severe he eventually had to leave school.

He and his mother share their Calmare treatment experience, performed by Dr. Cooney:
