Oregonian Nurse Chooses Calmare Therapy for CRPS Chronic Pain

November 7, 2017

We continue to welcome an influx of healthcare professionals seeking treatment for their own medication and treatment-resistant neuropathies.

This is an important honor for us and we are pleased to share another medical professional who achieved pain relief success from Calmare Therapy, registered nurse Kathryn Talenda–

Kathryn suffered from diagnosed CRPS for 10 long years.

She developed the condition (one she had never heard of) after a right foot sprain.

After trying every therapy from Botox to PT, she was debilitated by even more pain.

Eventually, she let her nursing license expire, as she was no longer able to work.

Not willing to give up, Kathryn traveled 3,000 to Calmare NJ USA, arriving with a consistent pain level of 8.5 / 10.

She explains what happened next below:

Are You Battling Medication and Treatment-Resistant Chronic Pain?

Most of our patients, who come from around the globe, have already tried every pill and procedure available, including spinal cord stimulators and Ketamine, but are still in pain every day.

Why Calmare Therapy is a completely different type of pain management:

  • Non-invasive
  • FDA-cleared
  • Drug-free
  • Painless

Calmare scrambler therapy is a newer alternative treatment to reduce or lessen several types of treatment-refacebook-iconsistant chronic pain. Since we introduced this drug-free pain solution at our healthcare clinic in 2011, we chose not to launch a flashy advertising campaign touting the merits of this pain treatment.

Believe us, it was tempting, if only for the fact that Calmare has no side effects, so viewers are not subjected to watching the drug company-type ads featuring people frolicking through the park, while the narrator describes all the frightening potential after-effects from taking the drug…

We took a decidedly different approach.

We invited our patients from around the world to describe their firsLinkedin_Iconthand accounts about what the Calmare Therapy experience was like for them, before, during and after the treatments.

Besides sharing these testimonials here on our website, we found the best way to reach other chronic pain sufferers was through social media.

We were honored and thrilled to receive this social post from our patient Matt, who underwent Calmare Therapy with us in 2013 and came in for booster treatments in 2014:

“Just spent a day walking around an amusement park with my family.

No way was that possible two years ago before I found Calmare.

Thank you and God blessing you with your skills for giving me my life back!

I AM GRATEFUL!

 feeling blessed.”

Virginia man with CRPS finally finds pain relief after seven long years

Mr. Socol lived and worked with a consistent pain level of 7/8 as a result of CRPS after a knee replacement surgery.

Understandably skeptical after trying several pain treatments without success, Ira leaves Calmare Therapy NJ at a pain level of 2 for the first time in more than 5 years.

In addition, he was able to feel his foot for the first time in 3 years.

As he tells it (below), his life going forward offers many opportunities that he formerly had to forego due to chronic pain.

Dr. Michael Cooney, clinical director at Calmare Therapy NJ and a CRPS / RSD treatment specialist, introduces Ira’s case:
