Teenager Travels from Scotland to NJ for Calmare Therapy

April 26, 2018

Cara Scott from Scottland_3.2018
Cara adds a pin to Scotland on the Calmare patient map.

Thirteen-year-old Cara underwent several therapies and pain management medications to lessen her nerve pain as a result of complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

She was still left in pain throughout much of her body.

Ultimately, her family elected to seek an alternative pain therapy solution and chose to cross the pond after Cara’s parents consulted via phone with Dr. Michael Cooney, clinical director, Calmare Therapy NJ USA.

“I continue to see very positive outcomes in children and teens who are battling nerve pain,” Dr. Cooney explains. “The therapy is not painful and has no side effects–when does that ever happen?”

This young lady lit up the clinic during her stay here in New Jersey a few weeks ago.

Best of all, she left smiling with her pain level down to a 1/10.

She and her mother explain how her treatment went, from start to finish:

Do you have a child or teenager battling neuropathic chronic pain?

We’d be happy to speak with you about a drug-free, painless (tingly, as Cara called it) technology that can reduce or even resolve the pain, so your child can go back to being a kid again.

Reach out at Calmarenj@gmail.com or call the clinic directly at (201) 933-4440 to speak with our friendly, respectful team of pain warriors.

Welcoming Dr. Timakkondu, Calmare Physician from India

September 28, 2017

By Dr. Michael J. Cooney, Clinical Director

Dr. T and Emily Black_9.2017
A smiling Emily Blake is shown with Dr. Cooney and Dr. Timakkondu, visiting Calmare physician from Madurai, India (9/27/17).

We’re honored to welcome Dr. Kuppusami Timakkondu,  a highly regarded Calmare provider from India who is observing here at the clinic this week.

Dr. Timakkondu is particularly interested in our CRPS, fibromyalgia and trigeminal neuritis treatment protocols.

We’re shown here with superstar patient, Emily Blake, who is undergoing booster treatments with us this week. You may recall Emily’s battle with CRPS was chronicled by her daily newspaper in Indiana.

While Emily’s pain level had risen to a 5/10, after her third booster treatment yesterday, September 27, her pain level is down to 1/10, thankfully.

Calmare is a Provider Dependent Therapy. Why You Should Choose Wisely

While Dr. Timakkondu and I may live and practice pain management at opposite ends of the globe, we are united in our war against chronic pain.

Thank you for your insight, your candor and your friendship, doctor.

Is Your Pain Management Failing You?

The Calmare Therapy NJ USA clinic is often a ‘last stop’ for people in pain who have tried all the drugs, injections, surgeries and other painful and invasive therapies to stop their chronic pain.

Scrambler therapy is painless, drug-free and has no side effects. The biggest risk factor is that the therapy will not reduce your pain.

But the majority of people who have undergone scrambler therapy have significantly lessened their neuropathy to a ‘manageable level’ or eliminated their pain completely (our goal).

If you’d like to find out if scrambler therapy might be right for you, call us at 201-933-444, email us at CalmareNJ@gmail.com or complete the eCard below:
