May 10, 2018

After failed foot surgery, Marilyn Green soon found herself facing a bigger challenge–a devastating CRPS diagnosis.

Two years later, she made us laugh out loud at this post (below) on our Facebook timeline:

“Two years ago, I started my Calmare NJ Therapy.

Other than a “zinger” once in a while, I have been pain-free!

Thanks Dr. Cooney and staff.

I live life now!!! Hugs!

Star Celebrates Overcoming CRPS Pain with Calmare Therapy

April 18, 2017

Human Resource Manager Star from Alabama battled CRPS for seven years. Since 2010, she tried all the prescription pain medications and (often painful) invasive treatments, without success.

Meanwhile, her pain level continued to increase.

By chance, she discovered Calmare Therapy on Facebook.

After performing due diligence about the treatment and its success treating CRPS, she chose Dr. Michael Cooney to perform her therapy.

Star had lower extremity pain (concentrated in the knee region) and underwent the Calmare 10-treatment series in 2015.

She came in for one (1) booster treatment in the fall of 2016 when she experienced an increase in her pain level.

Star gave us permission to share her recent Facebook post about how she feels today (4/15/17):

“Beautifully Blessed Day!!!
God is so good and I am feeling so much better!!
After 7 years of pain, God’s healing hands and direction leading us to Calmare NJ has changed my life🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.
I am still off all my previous meds for CRPS and feel pain ever-so-often but briefly and greatly reduced.
So blessed!!!😄
Here what I accomplished just today–

Cleaned up on House✔️
Walked Boston✔️
Watch Nephew Luke play baseball✔️
Late lunch with Tim/Michael Buffalo Wild Wings
About to watch movie at home and then out for another walk”👍

Chloe Finds CRPS Pain Resolution with Calmare Therapy

January 29, 2016

Nineteen-year-old Chloe valiantly underwent treatment after treatment –and more drugs than she can name–trying to defeat the pain from CRPS in her feet.

When she arrived here in New Jersey after flying 24-hours from Australia, her left foot was swollen to the size of a football and her right foot was in severe continual pain.

Here’s what she has to say about her Calmare Therapy which was personally administered by Dr. Michael Cooney:

“Get to Know Calmare” event offered exclusively for podiatrists

Foot stepping legsAs one of just a few healthcare practitioners in the country certified to provide Calmare scrambler therapy, I’ve had the privilege to partner with a variety of physicians ─ physiatrists, family doctors, orthopedists and podiatrists ─ to help their treatment resistant patients overcome neuropathy (when other therapies and medications simply didn’t work).

Many of the patients we help are suffering from lower extremity pain, often concentrated in the ankles and feet. The origins of this pain are varied: trauma and injury; RSD / CRPS; post-surgical pain, diabetic neuropathy and pain from chemotherapy treatment.

As a result, I am inviting podiatrists from the New Jersey / New York metro area on Wednesday, June 19, to offer a presentation of our pain-free, side-effect-free scrambler therapy and explain its benefits to patients with chronic lower extremity pain. We will meet for dinner here in the Rutherford, NJ area and I’ll offer an overview of the benefits of the therapy, what patients and conditions might be suitable for treatment, and answer questions.  I’ll also share some recent patient case studies.

If you are a podiatrist in the New York, New Jersey region, please feel free to call our office at 201.933.4440 and we’ll be happy to provide additional details and reserve seating for you. There is no fee to attend and I look forward to meeting everyone!
