Our beloved Calmare scheduler and front desk administrator, Cathy (center) is shown with Peggy and her husband Tim who were with us for two weeks from New Mexico.

Since 2010, Peggy has been battling RSD in her left arm and hand after a carpal tunnel syndrome diagnosis.

She first came to us last October for 10-treatments and left pain-free for the first time in six years. Due to the severity and longevity of her RSD, low-grade pain returned this spring.

Before it could worsen, she and Tim came back for Calmare booster treatments, which may be needed if the pain returns.

Besides taking time to visit New York City (10 minutes from the office), they also ventured to Philly (under two hours) and Boston (about four hours) during their time here.

Peggy again achieved a pain-free state and is looking forward to heading back to their ranch with full use of her hand and arm.

As time goes on, patients who require scrambler therapy boosters generally need them less frequently. Some patients require only a single 35-minute booster treatment, while other need more sessions.

Josh attacks his RSD using Calmare scrambler therapy and gets engaged–all in one week

We’ve been awaiting Josh Mowery’s arrival here for some time to combat his RSD.

He has sustained chronic hand pain (8 /10 on the pain scale) for more than two long years.

Josh started scrambler therapy treatments here with us on Monday, July 13, 2015.

After four daily sessions (lasting about 35-minutes each), his pain level is already down to a 1/2.hand during treatment

His swelling is also going down nicely.

Josh MowreyBut the good news doesn’t stop there–

Last night, he and his lovely girlfriend enjoyed a beautiful summer evening in New York City.

While basking in the city lights from the observation deck of the Empire State Building, Josh proposed!

The happy couple is here this morning while he undergoes treatment 5 of 10.

We’d say it’s been a rather good week for Josh.

We can’t wait to see what happens next week!
