A larger clinic, a second Certified Scrambler Therapy doctor, second generation leadership and a renewed promise to help more people finally break free from treatment-resistant chronic nerve pain.

December 9, 2025
As we look back on 2025, our entire team at Calmare NJ USA is proud to celebrate a year marked by meaningful growth, improved patient access, and expanded clinical leadership.
This year, we moved into a larger, more advanced treatment space in Rutherford, designed specifically to meet the needs of people seeking non-invasive, drug-free relief from chronic nerve pain. Dr. Jason G. Cooney, DC, became our Clinical Director—an important milestone for our practice and for the future of Scrambler Therapy in the United States and our global patient network.

After years of training with Founder Dr. Michael Cooney, DC, Dr. Jason Cooney, DC, has stepped confidently into a leadership role, helping to deliver consistently strong outcomes for patients who previously believed they were out of options.
Together, our team has treated individuals from across the U.S. and around the world with chronic and treatment-resistant conditions, including CRPS, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), diabetic neuropathy, fibromyalgia, post-surgical neuropathy, and pediatric nerve pain.

Many of these patients had previously tried medications, injections, physical therapy, spinal cord stimulators, or surgical procedures—yet continued to suffer. Scrambler Therapy offered something different: a restorative, non-invasive treatment that aims to retrain the brain to interpret pain signals correctly.
Our mission is always the same: to end treatment-resistant nerve pain, one patient at a time.
Every day, we see what is possible when the right therapy meets the right patient at the right time. And every day, we are reminded why we do this work.
In 2026 and beyond, we will continue pushing forward—growing bigger, reaching further, and helping more people finally reclaim their lives from chronic nerve pain. Rest assured, we’re just getting started.
