Twenty-eight-year-old Chanelle brightened our office during her 10- Calmare Therapy treatments earlier this year. She had been suffering with CRPS for 15 years (yes, it can affect children, teens, adults and seniors) primarily in her upper body, most severely in her left arm).
We started talking back in 2014, and this year she made the arduous 24-hour flight to New Jersey, USA from Australia.
Over the years, she and her loving family had aggressively tried several CRPS pain treatments for her, including:
- Myriad of medications
- Acupuncture
- Physical therapy
- Nerve blocks
- Ketamine
- Two spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials (first traditional then high-frequency)
Finally, in the spring of 2016, Chanelle arrived at our clinic; after her 10-day treatment protocol, she achieved an outstanding outcome, and left us nearly pain-free for the first time in more than a decade.
August 2016: Chanelle Sends an Update from Hawaii
Much to my delight, I received this recent update from her on my Facebook profile:
“So a couple of weeks ago, i flew to Hawaii to see my partner. Since having the Calmare treatment, that has been the best flight experience for me. I’m usually in agonizing pain on the flight, and wonder why it is I torture myself my getting in a plane.
But this time, I sat back and enjoyed watching movies and arrived…relaxed 😊 !! My arm was even good enough for me to hold a gun long enough to shoot at the range… without pain.”
Why Calmare, Why Now?
This young woman’s story means the world to all of us. Every patient who graces our door has tried every drug, invasive and painful treatments and traveled incredible distances in search of pain treatment, only to be disappointed again. Many are (justifiably) on the verge of giving up hope.
But some have discovered our clinic here in New Jersey and their lives, along with their friends and family, have been changed by the success of scrambler therapy. We wish we could say this treatment for everyone and that it is “the cure” for all chronic pain. But, sadly, this isn’t the case. Nonetheless, we continue to achieve better than 80% success in significantly reducing severe chronic pain for people battling post-surgical pain and neuropathy from other chronic medical conditions.
We welcome our opportunity to help you or a loved loved one battling neuropathy, whether you are newly diagnosed or have suffered with chronic pain for decades, as Chanelle has.
Call us (you can ask for me and I’ll call you back) at 201-933-4440 or email me with your medical history. Let’s get a conversation going. Let’s start fighting back.
