Hi Deborah,
First, thank you for reaching out/commenting. It is difficult to say if the Calmare can help your condition without knowing more about your medical history and previous treatment efforts.
Feel free to call me to discuss your case and then I will be better informed to make a determination if scrambler therapy may be a viable pain treatment solution for you.
Kind regards,
Dr. Cooney | 201.933.4440 | info@calmaretherapynj.com

My 12 year old daughter has been diagnosed with CRPS following a foot/ankle injury. She does not have intense pain, however she does still have some pain while weight bearing. Her biggest symptoms are skin discoloration, some swelling, and limited movement/stiff joints in her toes. Would these treatments potentially help with these things, or is it mostly for pain relief?

Dear Gena, First, thank you for reaching out about your daughter’s case. I think we can help her, based upon the symptoms you described. Please call me at the clinic today, 201-933-4440 to discuss her medical history in more detail. Sincerely, Dr. Cooney, Clinical Director, Calmare Therapy NJ USA

I don’t see any patient comments from those with PHN. I’ve had PHN for almost 9 years. I’ve have tried literally everything with no relief, except Lyrica which helps take “the edge” off, but I still have pain all of the time. Do you have any success stories for PHN?

Thanks for your message, JayBob, and we’re sorry to hear about your battle with PHN. Yes, we’ve treated several patients with shingles with very successful outcomes. There have also been a number of clinical studies using scrambler therapy to treat PHN symptoms with similar findings.
If you enter “PHN” on the search box on our site, you will discover several articles and patient recaps.

I have known about Calmar therapy for sometime but I have not seen where there has been any success in treating the type of chronic pain that I have. I was diagnosed with Pudendal Nerve Entrapment several years ago. My question to you have you treated anyone with PNE or pudendal neuropathy? I have had chronic pain for the last 13 years.
Thank you,
Rheyma Kelbley

Dear Rheyma,
Thank you for your message and I am sorry to hear about your PNE condition. Yes, we have treated prudendal pain, a deep nerve injury.
The degree of positive outcome has been directly related to the original injury, which you didn’t mention in your case.
It would be best to discuss the original nature of your injury and medical history by phone in more detail. Please call my office at 2019334440 to discuss further. Wishing you a low pain day, Dr. Michael Cooney
