April 27, 2021

As travel opportunities continue to reopen worldwide, we are now scheduling appointments for new patients and booster treatment appointments beginning mid-June-July 2021.

The Calmare team, including Dr. Michael Cooney, is fully vaccinated against Covid-19. We continue to support all the virus prevention guidelines recommended by the CDC.

We will continue to schedule one patient in the clinic at a time as a precautionary measure. Doing so does reduce the number of daily appointments, so please reach out promptly.

No fee phone consultations are required for all potential patients. We request that people interested in pursuing Calmare first learn more about the therapy on these web pages prior to scheduling your consultation.

What is Calmare?

How Does Calmare Work?

What Types of Chronic Pain May Be Suitable for Calmare Therapy?

When new/future patients have some basic understanding about how non-invasive scrambler therapy is performed–and how it can lessen or eliminate chronic pain–helps us focus our discussion more specifically on the exact nature of your neuropathy and understand your pain management goals after therapy.

Any essential reason for this consultation, which is held only with our clinical director, Dr. Michael Cooney, is because Calmare is not right for everyone.

We will not treat patients for whom Dr. Cooney does not feel there is a high probability of pain reduction after scrambler therapy treatments.

If you would like to schedule a new consultation or booster treatments, please complete the quick form below, and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours of receipt of your message. If you prefer to call our New Jersey clinic, please reach out at (201) 933-4440 between 10 am and 5 pm weekdays.
