As we prepare to honor our veterans lost in battle on Memorial Day 2020, we felt it was appropriate to announce that the U.S. Military has expanded the availability of Calmare scrambler therapy to 16 military medical centers and two VA locations.
These facilities are generally restricted for use by military personnel, their dependents and other eligible individuals.
Dr. Michael Cooney, Calmare nj USa clinical director, is also an approved Calmare scrambler therapy provider for veterans living in New Jersey. Veterans must have a written referral from a V.A. physician to schedule therapy.
Dr. Michael Cooney is a New Jersey VA Hospital In-Network Provider
Soldiers, veterans and their families living with chronic nerve pain do not need to turn to more surgery, Ketamine treatments, spinal cord stimulators (SCS) and other invasive procedures for pain relief.
“The U.S. Military was one of the first treatment centers to recognize Calmare’s capacity to substantially reduce or eliminate nerve pain without using invasive procedures, needles, medications or surgeries,” explains Dr. Cooney.
