Tonya Schuler, a full-of-life fitness trainer from West Virginia, was diagnosed with CRPS after carpal tunnel surgery. The chronic pain started in one hand and soon spread to the other.

From there, the neuropathy affected her neck, back and stomach.

After trying a myriad of prescription pain drugs, injections and invasive procedures, her pain management doctor eventually recommended she have a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) surgically implanted into her back.

“When I realized an SCS was the final treatment option, I knew I had to take matters into my own (painful) hands and reach out to the CRPS community,” explains.

“A Facebook group that included thousands of other sufferers consistently mentioned Dr. Cooney and Calmare for helping reduce their pain, even for full-body sufferers.”

Tonya says she sent off an email to him (calmarenj@gmail.com) and he called her the next day.
