Rutherford, New Jersey, USA

As 2016 came to a close, our staff reminisced about our patients from around the world who have entrusted us to help them reduce their chronic pain since we began offering Calmare scrambler therapy in 2011.

One of the more memorable weeks included two patients battling the debilitating symptoms from complex regional pain syndrome–CRPS–also called RSD.

Eighty-seven-year-old Ann and 16-year-old Katie (right) both suffered from complex regional Katie Triosipain syndrome (CRPS) symptoms at different stages of life. Both were determined to keep searching for a pain management solution that would empower them to resume a quality of life, no longer dictated by chronic pain and the physical symptoms of this disease.

The patients and their families decided to investigate a non-invasive, alternative pain treatment since traditional medicine was not successful. They discovered Dr. Cooney and his successful outcomes using Calmare scrambler therapy to combat CRPS pain and additional physical symptoms.

After completing the 10-treatment series during the same period, both achieved the lowest pain level they had experienced in years.

Video: Ann and Katie describe their Calmare Therapy treatments following an introduction by our clinical director, Dr. Michael J. Cooney:
