As a doctor, there is nothing better than hearing positive news from your patients after their treatment is complete. Before I introduced Calmare scrambler therapy in 2011, the vast majority of my patients were from New Jersey or metropolitan New York City.
But since our marked success treating severe chronic pain with scrambler therapy, patients have come here to Rutherford from Australia, Switzerland, Netherlands and the UK and several other countries. It has been so enjoyable to meet people from around the world. Even better, in the majority of cases, we have sent them home feeling better than they have felt in years, sometimes decades.

Di came here from South Africa earlier this year with CRPS. What a delightful person! Her steadfast refusal to surrender to this disease was beyond inspiring for our entire Calmare Therapy NJ team. Even with the demands of a business and busy family, Di knew it was time to step away and defeat the CRPS monster once and for all.
Just this week, we corresponded by email for the first time in a few months.
Here’s an update on how she’s doing:
“Doc, am really feeling like I have a new lease on life.

Theresa,
Thank you for reaching out. The best place to start is to read our website, particularly the CRPS patient cases, and find out if you think Calmare might work for you. Then, please call our office to get more information and talk with our clinical director, Dr. Michael Cooney. There is most certainly hope, Theresa. We look forward to talking with you!
